Intro

Intro

One of the most leading edge clubs to come out in the market today is the TaylorMade Rocketballz clubs. For the first time since the advent of the R-series clubs, the Rocketballz Clubs are deservedly making a huge splash due to its definite improvement and great user turn-about. TaylorMade states that the state-of-the-art technology designed into the clubs will get you a lot more distance from your swing. The rebuilt face structure and Toe-Bar design is what makes the golf ball shoot off the face like a rocket. Check out this TaylorMade Rocketballz irons review to work out if the clubs will fit your game.

Overview

These may set you back as much as $1,299 but these clubs are those that will improve your game the most. Its new design and technology will provide larger distance. Its distance will be so noticeable that you will have to practice with each iron to re-figure the distance you get with each club. The sweet spot is bigger for the Rocketballz clubs, and a little smaller for the Rocketballz Max clubs. Nonetheless most average golfers won’t find that this is a difficulty and the beginners are given advice to start with these clubs when they start striking the ball better. The workability of this clubs are also quite electrifying, but you will need to actually spend if you so choose to buy these innovative golf clubs. The MSRP for the Rocketballz clubs is $699 for steel shafts and $799 for graphite shafts, but experienced golfers have a tendency to buy the Maximum clubs in this series and this costs $1,299.

The Good

The most important change you may see when using these clubs is the distance improvement. Most folks sampling this new TaylorMade iron design have proved that there is an overall increase in distance of 15 yards per club. The feel is comfortable and it’s easy to get enough feedback on impact to make adjustments to your swing. Its lighter feel and shape of the head make this iron straightforward to align with the ball, and its design is graceful and its looks impressive. As soon as you slow down your swing and get as much distance, or even more, than you probably did with your previous iron, then you will find out that your shot making ability will improve.

The Bad

The biggest turn-off for these irons is its price. Although you could be capable of finding cheaper RBZ irons on the web, but the experienced player would want the RBZ Max irons so he would truly have to shell out more money to pay for this club. If you are serious about your golf game, then the price is worthwhile, but expect to keep these irons for a bit. Aside from its price, these irons are virtually flawless in its design and in its workability. There have been marked enhancements over the R-series irons which would make every TaylorMade fan truly enjoy this item.

Net Result

If you’re serious about improving your game, then there’s no reason for you not to buy the TaylorMade RBZ irons. It happens to be one of the best, if not the best irons available in the market. It will also help you get more distance, straighter shots and more control of your shot making capability, so these irons are a total must to have in your bag.

Intro

Intro

Since the Big Bertha was introduced years back, Callaway has not backed down and has created solid golf drivers since then. The new Callaway RAZR is definitely not an outlier. With three separate RAZR versions to choose from, this may very well be the biggest alteration Callaway has done to their club design since Big Bertha. Its improved technology permitted Callaway to uniformly distribute its weight in the club head to make this club more balanced and comfortable to swing. Callaway says the beginning players were actually impressed by this new club, while the medium-handicap players gave it excellent reviews and the better players equally liked and disfavoured this driver. With this Callaway RAZR Driver review we’re going to offer you the good, the bad, and our final opinions.

Overview

Compared to most drivers on today’s market, the Callaway RAZR is more forgiving. It might feel a little heavy, but if you mishit the ball, you will get about an identical quantity of distance you would if you hit the sweet spot. It gives you a little feedback on mishits and it sounds great when you hit the driver in the right way. Most golfers who like this driver are customarily the high-to medium -handicap golfers. But some experienced golfers will like it as well.

The Good

With its great feel and sound when hitting the ball, the Callaway RAZR driver is definitely one of the better drivers on the market today. It’s got a high launch angle and shoots the ball off the face when making good contact. Mishits can be evaded most of the time thanks to the massive sweet spot and its carry distance being somewhat the same as when you make an excellent hit. The forgiveness is what the start golfers are clamouring for with these drivers. Its distance is consistent and you’ll know how far you hit this driver every time you tee it up. It also flies in a straighter trail when the ball is struck correctly.

The Bad

One thing bad about this club is the carry distance. It isn’t as good as what the other clubs might bring. Its carry distance could be consistent, but it actually could be a lot better. Its roll distance is also limited because its launch angle is higher than other drivers. Some of the more highly experienced players have complained about the workability of the RAZR driver being slightly complicated to manipulate. Its weight leaves a lot to be desired according to players but the driver does have good balance. The MSRP is $399 and its range is kind of dear for a club that can generally underperform than what is anticipated.

Bottom Line

Beginners to average players will love this driver, though with its price bracket, the starting players should not buy this driver till they have learned all the fundamentals of their swing and are hitting the golf ball habitually. The newbies can use this as a good step-up driver to move into as quickly as they hitting the ball solidly. The consistency and feel of the club is what the average players will like, but the experienced players may a different driver with more feasibility if they need to cut shots or draw shots when they need to.

Introduction

Introduction

This TaylorMade driver is rather longer than the first R11 and is more tuneable. What this implies is a golfer can make multiple tweaks to the club so as to get it to fit their swing. This feature allows you to change the loft, flight trail, and face angle by moving the five-sided ASP plate, the movable weights and the 1.5 degree FCT sleeve. This driver includes tools to make the alterations, but you can use your hand for a few of these other changes. A real instance of this is the face angle of the club. TaylorMade claims this club provides the golfer with a bigger and quicker club to get rather more distance than the golfer had ever had before. Check out our TaylorMade R11S driver review to see what we think of the club.

Overview

There aren’t many things negative to say about the R11S Driver other than the proven fact that it has too many moving parts. However it does hit better than the previous R11 model. The adjustment could be a huge help if you know exactly what you’re doing. But if you’re a newb trying make the changes, then you may just disrupt your game if it’s not done properly. TaylorMade is legendary for making clubs with glorious feel and the R11S isn’t different. The RS11 feels totally comfortable in your hands, and if you’d like a club you can play with and make changes, then this is the one for you. You are going to pay for all of the adjustments though, as the driver comes at an MSRP of $379.

The Good

Of the most important positives for the RS11 is that gives you more control over your shots. Golfers who are on the way to a game improvement driver or experienced golfers desiring more control over their driver will really be pleased with the TaylorMade R11S. Its white finish is what makes this the best and it’s easy to align on the ball on address. You also get good feedback on mishits, which helps you for a better restructuring next time you hit the golf ball. The carry distance was sufficient though not remarkable.

The Bad

One big issue is just that they are too many moving parts and it is a little difficult to tune up yourself. Once you do get it tuned for you, then you could have no problems. The distance won’t be what you expect and it will take time before you are used to this club. The weights can come loose so you want to also check them before each round.

Net Result

This is certainly not the best TaylorMade has come out with when talking about drivers as the R11S just has too much going on. Some golfers, especially the noobs, do not know lots about loft, face angle, and flight path and it can hurt their game if they try and tune the drivers by themselves. When you tune your driver with a pro though, it will enhance your shot making ability significantly. The distance was displeasing but still comparable to the other drivers TaylorMade has done through the years.

Intro

Intro

Similar to the Burner 2.0 clubs, but the TaylorMade R11 clubs however have some technology built into them the Burner clubs don’t. Its ultra thin face makes the iron feel lighter than the other clubs TaylorMade manufactures, and its weight distribution is dissimilar. TaylorMade claims that they also built in some technology that the driver has, which will allow the iron to be tuned to your swing. Its inverted cone expands the sweet spot, which helps newbs and average golfers with their swing. Read our TaylorMade R11 irons review for more information on the clubs.

Overview

If you can swing it then this club is the one for you. It is very easy to hit, and the feel and impact is even better. The enlarged sweet spot permits off-center hits to go straight and long. A professional player may deem its workability less than what he would need. But nonetheless this club is a welcome addition to your golfing club set. Its lighter feel will allow you to swing less complicated, without impacting on the distance that you might have been utilized to. When you are looking to improve your game and take it to a higher level, then these irons will definitely help.

The Good

Beginning golfers or golfers who seek to head to the next level will actually benefit from its expanded sweet spot. Even the experienced golfers can use these clubs to hit constantly straight shots. The distance is comparable to the Burner 2.0 clubs, but the feel and sound are different, which makes this iron a lot better. The clubs cut through the rough a lot easier than the other TaylorMade clubs. This is probably thanks to the thinner face and weight distribution.

The Bad

One gigantic downside for these clubs are their price. At an MSRP of $999 for steel shafts and an additional $100 for graphite shafts, many golfers will be turned off by the price. Due to its larger sweet spot, some of the better experienced golfers tend to think that this is not the club they’d want to spend so much money on because of its restrictions when working the ball.

Bottom Line

If you have the money, these are a step up over any of the other irons TaylorMade has on the market, beside the RocketBallz irons. These irons will help beginning players transition to average players and average players transition to a lower-handicap player. Experienced players that like straight shots will also like these irons.
